My Farm Camps offer Christ-centered adventures for children and families through horseback riding, animal-assisted therapy, mini-farm camps, summer experiences, parties, weddings, and special events.

Our wide range of activities empower and equip your child to explore God's creation, care for His creatures, and cultivate life lessons learned on the farm. Our special staff and incredible facilities mean everyone gets a chance to explore and celebrate. 

My Farm Camps is so much more than a horseback riding farm. My Farm Camps was founded in 2007 with a desire to spread God's Word in love and compassion through the vessel of real-life, hands-on, fun-for-the-whole-family, farm experiences.

My Farm Camps provides a unique blend of adventure and educational experiences for children, teens, adults, and families. Our mini camps, summer experiences, parties, and special events offer the chance to create lasting memories while riding horses, encountering wildlife, and experiencing God's creation and life on the farm.

Morgan's passion for horses and teaching is evident in every interaction she has with the children she engages. McKinley has grown so much in her confidence and skill since starting at My Farm Camps, and we couldn't be more grateful for Morgan's guidance and expertise. INDIA KEITH

Owner

  • India graduated from Wake Forest University in 1977 with a BA in History. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from T. C. Williams School of Law in Richmond, VA, practicing for almost 30 years in corporate and real estate law. India is a past chair of the Harris YMCA Board of Managers and has served on the Charlotte Metro YMCA board and numerous other committees within the Y organization. As an active alumni of Wake Forest, India has served on the President’s Council, the Alumni Council along various other committees. She is the current Co-Chair of Hope Out Loud, a non-profit organization that spreads the word of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. An avid lover of animals, India spent her youth riding and jumping in local horse shows. It is with great joy she steps into this new season of life, investing in the next generation through the love of horses and the farm life experience. India and her husband, Greg, have five children and eleven grandchildren. She enjoys spending quality time with her grandchildren at My Farm Camps and introducing them to their incredible Creator God through activities on the farm.

MORGAN MCKAY
Chief Executive

  • Morgan received her entrepreneurship degree with a minor in business management from Western Carolina University and is currently seeking to further her education in a graduate program for childhood education and special education. She started her own business at the age of 17, and grew to love educating about animals and spreading the Word of God. After competing in the rated show circuit for many years in hunter/jumper and eventing, she decided to take a different approach to her teaching. She found passion in educating people of all ages and levels, with her ‘from the ground up approach’ and background of veterinary care. Being in the equine world for over 18 years, Morgan loves to be a spiritual leader and role model for future up and-coming generations. As part of her role here at My Farm Camps, she not only leads our counselors and staff, but she manages the day-to-day operations and overall care of the farm.

DANIEL WILLIAMSON

Barn Operations Manager

  • Daniel is a dedicated barn manager and summer camp leader whose love for animals and the outdoors has shaped both his work and his purpose. His passion for horses began after graduating high school and has grown through years of hands-on experience as a summer camp counselor. From early mornings in the barn to long days spent guiding campers, Daniel brings steady leadership, patience, and heart to life on the farm. He plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-run environment where animals are cared for and children feel at home.

     

    Through his work with summer camps, including the Harris YMCA, Daniel has discovered a deep calling in mentoring children and teaching responsibility, respect, and confidence through daily farm life. Whether it’s caring for animals, lending a listening ear, or leading by example, his calm presence and strong work ethic make him a trusted role model. For Daniel, the farm is more than a workplace—it’s where hard work, simple moments, and meaningful connections come together to leave a lasting impact on young lives.

ROBERT REAGAN

Head of Maintenance

  • Robert brings extensive hands-on maintenance and construction experience to the farm, supported by a foundation in carpentry that began during his high school years. He has developed a strong skill set in building, repairing, and improving a wide range of structures and equipment. His work includes maintaining barns, fencing, facilities, and essential farm infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient daily operations. Robert takes great pride in the quality of his workmanship and is known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to keeping the farm operating at its best.

BRANDI PARKER

Non-Profit Coordinator

  • Since joining My Farm Camps in 2023, Brandi Parker has become known as our Chief Animal Spoiler the one who can love on every kid and every creature at the same time. Guided by her faith and a heart for service, Brandi sees the farm as a place where God uses simple, everyday moments to teach big lessons.

     

    In addition to her daily work on the farm, Brandi leads the farm’s 501(c)(3) program, partnering with special‑needs students, foster youth, and children from local care organizations. She creates a safe, joyful space where kids who need extra support can experience confidence‑building, hands‑on moments with animals and nature.

     

    Whether she’s welcoming foster girls or boys for a day of healing, supporting students from specialized schools, or helping a nervous child take their first brave step toward an animal, Brandi’s mission remains the same: to help every child feel seen, valued, and capable. With patience, encouragement, and a whole lot of animal cuddles, she reminds each one that God made them strong, kind, and wonderfully unique and that they belong here.

FAQ’s

  • Our counselors are Red Cross certified, with Heimlich, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne illness. Our counselors are required to complete 100 hours of training to be sure they are equipped to care for your child.

  • Closed-toed shoes are required with the farm animals

  • We have riding helmets that we can provide, they are cleaned after every ride!

  • Extra set of clothes, closed-toed shoes and water shoes, towel, water, lunch and snacks, allergy or epi-pen medications, and sunscreen!
