Summer camp is filled with learning about and participating in life on a farm, creating new friendships, both furry and human alike, and cultivating a love for the outdoors and organic living. We are all about Animals, Agriculture and Arts! My Farm Camps Experience exists to bring the love of Christ to kids and families by using farm life and horses in a real hands-on way.

We typically start each day with morning farm chores, feeding the animals and grooming the horses. We saddle up early so that we can ride and hike and garden before the summer heat fills the air. My Farm Camps is for ages 5-14. Counselor in Training (CIT) is for rising 9th graders. CIT’s will work up to 3 weeks of camp along side of a Sr. Counselor.
MFC has lead Cowgirls who are all experts in their field, up to 8 counselors and many farm hands and CIT’s to make the experience safe and super fun! We are following the guidelines and making appropriate adjustments to the flow of our day as well as the sizes of our groups.
Afternoon lunches are spread out, either on the trail, under a tree, sitting on the rocks, swinging on a tire swing, eating from the food truck or inside the barn next to the fans with other fellow cowgirls and cowboys. Afternoon creeking is definitely a favorite and this summer we intend on it being super fun!! Water fights typically cool things off so be prepared for wet and dirty farmhands at pick up! Packing a towel and crocks is a good idea!
In the afternoons we offer our new program called “Animal Science” as well as the fun experiences hosted by our “Joy Squad”. A.S. is when we attend to any animal ailment, rescue need and/or grooming need. This is throughout the summer and is always different depending on the need. The “Joy Squad” is exactly that – the random joys of kids, animals and food!! Everything the “JS” does is filled with JOY!
Each week our Farrier and our Vet come to the farm for horse and hoof care and kids will create farm associated crafts. Often we have our farm Chiropractor pay a visit – which is super cool to watch and experience! Gardening and farm to table treats are a must while working and living on a farm and we fully intend on eating what we create! Often, we have leftovers for parents and siblings to try at afternoon pick up.
Camp Address: 12381 Downs Road Pineville, NC 28134
“Saddle Club” is for ages 5-6 yrs old. These kids will enjoy farm and age appropriate activities. They will also eat earlier and enjoy snack time so that they can run hard all day until 230pm! “Barn Rats” is for 7 year-olds.
Side Note: PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO THE FARM* We have dogs on the farm, whose purpose is to protect the farm from other animals. For the safety of the children who visit, we ask that you leave your animals at home. There is rarely adequate shade for you to leave your animal in the car while on site.
You may register using the PDF and email it or “snail mail” it, use Venmo or Zelle for payment or call me with your credit card. Email: morgan@myfarmcamps.com
Any questions please call Morgan at 704-698-8592.
Once summer camp is closed we are not able to issue refunds. We are a small venue and it is a “first come first serve” business. We pay outside employees to register and keep our financial books so that we can continue to use our strengths as programmers and directors of fun and safety!
I am truly looking forward to my favorite time of the year and cannot wait to invest in your cowgirls and cowboys!
