For school groups, brownie/girl scouts, service days, and field trips- there is more than enough to do on the farm! Put your kids to work with farm chores, feeding, grooming and education about agriculture and animals.
May Events: I am getting so excited for camp next month, where we will experience the best week of farm living, horseback riding, gardening, chicken catching, goat playing, craft building, crazy fun! If your cowgirl or cowboy want a horseback riding “refresher” we are hosting a 2hr training (we are calling it “Friday Night Live”) on Friday May 5th and May 19th at 4:45-7pm. Chelsea Dressler Miller, our new trainer, who is coming from Carolina Country Acres and the prestigious Va. Intermont College and Riding Academy. She will be leading these trainings – I fully intend on wearing my Derby Hat for the 5th in anticipation of Saturday’s Kentucky Derby! Please let me know if this is something your camper would like to attend, cost is $58 for the 2hrs. Also, we have a fun over the top- “Ride Relax Grab a Snack” event programmed with farm fun, riding, games, animal time, food and more food then, some more sweet treats to send them home with on Sunday May 21st 1:30-330pm – Cost is $40. Please let us know your attendance… this is open to anyone interested in joining the fun – not just campers!

We are planting gardens with Pike Nursery, hiking trails, playing field games, FOOD TRUCKS and CLIMB’S Roast, ANIMAL PLAY TIME, and the 1st ever “My Farm Camps Got Talent” Talent Show!! Join us in the Fall of 2017 for our Family Trail Run and Obstacle Course! Followed by a Bon Fire Farm Fun!
Time: 2:00-5 pm
Cost: $20 per person or $45 for a family.
After the run, purchase food from Food Trucks and Climb’s Roast Coffee plus we will have a bonfire. So, get your running shoes and come ready to experience the trails like the horses do!
I lovingly call these cowgirls my “Barn Rats!” Barn Rat Saturdays are designed for kids and families to come work on the farm. They experience farm life while bonding with the animals and with each other. They are free, but please bring treats for the animals! BRS are open to the public up to 25 people. Registration is required and dates are listed on the event calendar. Rain cancels BRS. To register, contact us through this form.
